What He did for me
He died the death I deserve for my sin and he purchased me by his blood that was shed on the cross. He did it so that he could call me his, and so that he could be with me forever. Jesus changed my entire life. I used to live apart from him, living in sin, then one day he rescued me. I was depressed and didn't know what to look to so I decided to look to Jesus. I woke up one morning and began to talk to him, I asked him so many questions and I asked him to reveal himself to me. Then I flipped open an old Bible and began to read. As I was reading he started to answer the exact questions I just asked, it was like the words of the page were his exact voice to me. So I started to do this everyday longer and longer and I began to form a relationship with Him. I started to realize that he actually loves me without condition and that all he wants is a relationship with me because I am his beloved. I then came across the verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 and I started to see it everywhere everyday, it started to freak me out. I asked him, what are you trying to tell me with this verse? Then I went to church for the first time in a long time and the pastor got up on stage and the first thing he said was, "Hello everyone, today we are going to talk about 2 Corinthians 5:17 and what it means. Every word that came out of his mouth felt like it was God speaking directly to me. After I left I decided to listen to christian music in the car. As I was listening to this song there was a little girl's voice that came on and she said that exact verse God had been speaking to me, 2 Corinthians 5:17. In that moment I physically felt the tangible presence and love of Jesus wrap around me. It was so much love I can't even describe it, it felt euphoric and it was the best feeling I had ever felt in my entire life. I immediately began to weep uncontrollably because his love for me is so great. I couldn't stop weeping for an hour straight and he spoke to me and said come to me just as you are. He was inviting me into a deep relationship with him and I took it. Ever since then I have not looked back. He formed me in my mothers womb, and before I even came to be, he had always loved me and wanted me here. His thoughts for me outnumber the grains of sand on every shore. I've always been His child, and so have you.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17.
